Attendees of the LifeScapes Center for the Arts pancake fundraiser were welcomed by artwork created by Camp Create participants at three day August 2018 retreat held in Florence, SD.

The 27th annual LifeScapes Pancake Fundraiser and art showcase to help provide breakfasts and lunches for low-income adults with disabilities, as well as the specialized training needed for children and adults with specific support needs was held at the Sioux Falls Convention Center on October 14th, 2018.

An art exhibition was held on the same day, to showcase the impressive work created by adult artists who attended this years Camp Create retreat, presented by LifeScape Center for the Arts and featuring South Dakota artist Ari Albright. This three-day retreat, from Aug. 26-28 at Joy Ranch in Florence, SD, was offered to artists supported by LifeScape as well as other adults with disabilities from our community, ages 19 and up.

Guided art sessions by Ari Albright, encouraged participants of the Camp Create retreat to produce finished works of art that were displayed for community members at the annual LifeScapes Pancake Fundraiser on October 14th, 2018.

Artists participated in guided art sessions, producing several finished pieces that were displayed for family and friends of camp attendees at the conclusion of the artists time at Camp Create. Participants at Camp Create were also welcomed to participate in camp activities such as horseback riding, pontoon rides, nightly campfires by the waterfront, and more!
